Q8 Formula Elite C2/C3 5W-30
Q8Oils will be moving to new future proof formulation with new upgraded specifications. This product succeeds the Q8 Formula Elite C2 5W-30 and Q8 Formula Elite C2 Evo 5W-30. The product is an Ultra-High performance passenger car motor oils, specially formulated to meet the severe demands of todays and future generations of engines meeting latest ACEA LD 2021 and API SP industry specifications.
The Commercial benefits are:
- Superior protection against Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI), ensuring engine protection – LSPI can result in severe engine damage due to uncontrolled combustion pressure loadings;
- Improved after treatment device protection – fully compatible with Gasoline particulate filters;
- Chain wear tested for highest timing chain protection – Evaluate a lubricant’s performance to protect against soot-induced timing chain wear experienced in modern gasoline direct-injection (GDI) style engines. If the timing chain wear is too high, the valve timing will be off-phase resulting in poor engine performance and eventually resulting in a timing chain failure causing severe engine damage;
- Excellent lubrication, leading to a proven fuel economy of up to 2,5% or more.
As from the June Q8Oils will able to claim more specifications and approvals on the Q8 Formula Elite C2/C3 5W-30. New additional specifications will be Renault RN 17/RN 0700/RN0710, MB 229.31/51/52, API SP and ACEA C3.
